Looking for some high figure Claro Walnut for a jumbo Guitar. Do any of our sponsors have any?
Its for a commission and my customer wants to see it first. I know LMI has it but I can't buy it without seeing it first!

Thanks

Larry at Gallery Hardwoods usually has some nice Claro. He's not a sponsor at the moment (but was), but still a good guy with good wood.

Check out Volcano's site for the 'other woods,' or whatever they call it.
AMAZING stuff with a low price.

Larry is great.

Allied also has some.... Look at the weekly specials page and I think it is page 4 or page 5

Check it out.Brock Poling39065.8259837963

James, that's right! I remember seeing that now. Really nice stuff Volcano has/had.

This is not a "crazy" set if that's what your after.
Perfectly quartersawn, strong even curl, great color-kinda reminds me of a chocolate bar-back and sides cut from same board:

Thanks Hank,
What I need is a set large enough to make a jumbo also topped with walnut.
